Director’s Welcome

I am proud to lead Lighthouse Global School Solutions, helping schools turn their talent-development ambitions into coherent, practical systems.

Drawing on extensive experience in gifted education and school improvement, including my previous role as Manager of Learning Enrichment and Head of Gifted Education Programs at Qatar Foundation, I work with leaders to strengthen how talent is recognised, developed and reviewed across their schools.

Our approach brings together learner insight, meaningful challenge, structured pathways and clear evidence of progress. We provide the tools, resources and implementation support needed to create lasting alignment between leaders, teachers, learners and families.

Cynthia Bolton

Director, Lighthouse Global School Solutions

Cynthia Bolton is a highly experienced leader in high-potential education, with significant experience across Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education division. As former Manager of Learning Enrichment and Head of Gifted Education Programs, she helped establish the Qatar Foundation Talent Development Enrichment Programs in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY).

At Lighthouse Academy, Cynthia leads work across high-potential education, school partnerships, EdTech services, and talent development, helping ensure that school-facing provision remains rigorous, practical, and aligned with strong educational practice.

Samuel Mott

Founder & Talent Development Specialist

Samuel Mott is the Founder of Lighthouse Academy and an Educational Consultant specialising in high-potential and academic support services. A former Head of Gifted & Talented at King’s College Doha, he brings direct experience in helping schools identify, develop, and support learners whose strengths may otherwise go unnoticed.

Working alongside Cynthia Bolton, Samuel supports the development of Lighthouse Academy Global School Solutions, helping schools build high-challenge, high-care provision that is grounded in real practice and designed for sustained impact.
